what we do
Street Heart is a grassroots nonprofit born during the pandemic to support neighbors in need. What started with delivering food and essentials revealed deeper challenges faced by families, single mothers, seniors, and unhoused community members.
Our mission is to meet people where they are, build relationships, and provide compassionate, barrier-free support—from basics like socks and baby formula to transportation, school help, medication, and emergency assistance.

Street Heart found me at just the right time. I lost my home to a fire. I had been living in and out of hotels. Street Heart came and me right where I was at. They were able to help me obtain the information I need to gain assistance during my hard times. They helped me with transportation, help making phone calls, supplies, safety kit and cat food. Street Heart even helped me pay for a room.
I have found family in Street Heart. My kids weren’t going to have Christmas gifts but Street Heart helped me. The children had everything that was on their list.
